MENUThe latest Tecplot 360 MB build has introduced a new extract iso-surface dialog that allows you to select a single variable and specify multiple iso-surface values at once. In this video, we will show you how this new dialog simplifies the extract iso-surface workflow.
In this demonstration we are looking at a CONVERGE dataset of a water pump impeller. In this case, we will use the extract iso-surface feature to plot a cylindrical slice at a constant radius. Once we have an iso-surface of this cylindrical shape, we will be able to unwrap it in a 2D view to understand what is happening around the circumference of the iso-surface.
