What is the process for purchasing directly from Tecplot Inc.?
Tecplot Inc. sells directly to organizations in more than 50 countries globally and the process looks pretty much the same everywhere. Our organization is required to purchase from a Japanese entity, how will this be supported?
Tecplot Inc. will process most of our customer sales directly via its US office. If a customer is bound by Japanese law or contracts to purchase from a local reseller – we will work with resellers in Japan to execute the transaction. Please refer to this flowchart for a high-level overview of how Tecplot can sell its software and services through a local reseller.
How is Tecplot able to hire Japanese employees without being a registered Japanese business?
Tecplot is wholly owned by a global software company, Constellation Software, which owns and operates several hundred software businesses around the globe. Tecplot has the full support of the Constellation Software organization and can hire direct staff in Japan through one of it’s many subsidiaries.
